      • Indicate which parts of charges will repel and which will attract.LH
      • Explain what factors affect strength of an electric force.LH
      • Describe the characteristics of the electric field due to a charge. LH
      • describe how batteries are sources of voltage TS
      • explain potential difference and how it works TS
      • define and calculate resistance, current or voltage if given the other two TS
      • distinguish between conductors, superconductors, semiconductors and insulators TS
      • use schematic diagrams to represent circuits AK ✓
      • distinguish between series and parallel circuits AK ✓
      • calculate electric power using voltage and current
      • explain how fuses and circuit breakers are used to prevent circuit overload
